The importance of reading

Today we are going to discuss the importance of reading. Reading has been in our lives since the middle ages but it faded away in the begining of this century. Mainly under teenagers it isn't popular anymore. Therefore I wanted you to show the importance of reading. Because a lot of people don't see the use in books nowadays. So let's get started,

Reading has a lot of benefits to the mind. The first benefit is that the mind needs the practice of reading to sense the words it sees. It develops the ability to connect the words to images in the head. So how more you read how faster and better you will read. And it will give you a bigger arsenal of vocabulary.
Further reading create the ability to focus better and really listen to people in general. Because you train your brain to concentrate on one thing at a time.
It also improves your memory because when we read, we are using our memory muscle. Joseph ones used a great metaphor, which explains it all;

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.

Beside the benefits for the mind, you can also personally take advantage of reading books. While reading you will see perspectives you never could see if you looked from your angle. You will discover lots of opinions and views on subjects, so you can decide which views or opinions you want to follow or not. This way you will have a clearer view of who you are and what your opinion is about a variety of subjects.
Experience will come with ever type of books, because every book goes deep in there subject. Novels will learn you about how other behave and how they react under different circumstances. Self-help books, which I recommend, will go in deep about how to solve daily problems. Biographies will show how hero's behaved and let you see how they achieved big things, mainly because of the hard work. So all books you read will allow you to gain experience.

To sum up, we read because it allows us to develop ourselfs in different ways;
1) Gives us a better focus at one thing at a time
2) Gives us a bigger arsenal of vocabulary
3) Improves your reading skills
4) Improves your memory
5) Gives us a better view of who we are
6) Gives us more experience

After all just pick up a book, it doesn’t better which one.
Because, at the end of the day, all the books will you more experience in life.
Look around you, there is so much to read so just start and you’ll find your path in the world of books and articles.

Recontextualization; a change in framing

One day, about two or three years ago, my little brother stole my bar of chocolate. I was mad and lost my respect towards him. Later on that day I asked ‘Why did you steal my bar of chocolate?”. He said “Because it is mine”. I said “No it isn’t”. “Yes it is” he kept saying. Then my mom came in the room and asked why I didn’t eat my chocolate bar. My perspective changed; I could n’t find my bar and I said that he stole it , which he didn’t. My facts didn’t changed but the way I looked at it did. This is called recontextualization. The importance of Recontextualization When we get the inside in this phenomena we learn how we can change or perspectives. It also opens up the possibility of radically changing your understanding of a situation or facts without changing the facts. In my opinion, reality can hide the things that are in our reach. It helps us to put the right things in the proper context. Another example, ‘a man is jumping’. Think for a second a

The game of money

I, myself, had never a good view about money. Money just was there to get me something. My parents always bought things for me. Last week started thinking about it what it is and why people have so many problems with it. Because I thought is was just simple, but is it? The problem with money These days people are getting more and more materialism (including myself). Materialism means that people buy this because of emotional triggers such as breaking up, thinking they will be more fulfilled. And to solve this problem you certainly don’t have to buy things. You have to look at yourself. Look at your inner game. Look at what kind of beliefs you have about money. And perhaps write them down. Think by yourself about your own long term view. Because thats what counts. Not your fulfillment at that time. I know it is hard, I have been there myself. But you can do this, you can start right now. And if you aren’t buying because of emotional triggers, good job! The definition of money
